How to Make an AI Zombie Trend Video

Quick answer

The AI zombie trend video is a short zombie love story built from two photos, one person in each. You can make it here: Trend Remake sells it from 40 credits (a credit pack starts at $9.99 for 100 credits), a 15-second clip with natural sound and no music, on the model you pick. Other sites sell it too, as one video at a fixed price: aizombietrend.com and zombieaitrend.com ask $6.99 (checked 15 Oct 2026), aizombie.org $9.99 for 24 seconds, and zombietrend.com works out at $3.99 a clip in its biggest pack (derived, 12 Oct 2026).

What the AI zombie trend is

There is no single original clip. The trend is a format. One partner has turned into a zombie. The other cannot bring themselves to shoot. The video then cuts, by match cut, to a warm memory of the couple.

The only source we found that describes the format is one vendor blog, dated 5 Oct 2026 (aiidelist.com). Raindance-ai.org (10 Oct 2026) describes it differently: a "zombie hug", where one partner turns zombie and the other hugs them instead. It lists the trend as "Steady", rank 11 of 17. The two descriptions agree on the shape (zombie, partner, emotional turn) but not on the ending.

What we could not confirm: the start date, the originator, and how big the trend is. We found no independent coverage in our search. In our keyword data the trend burst on 27 Sep 2026 and has been flat to slightly down since early October. Do not treat a single origin as known.

Make it on Trend Remake in 3 steps

Here, it works like this:

  1. Sign in with Google and buy a credit pack. Google sign-in is free and comes before you upload or pay. Packs are one-time and credits never expire: $9.99 = 100 credits, $24.99 = 300, $59.99 = 800.
  2. Add your photos and pick a model. Two photos, one person in each. Both people must agree to appear. The clip costs 40 credits on MiniMax H3, 75 on Wan 3.0 or 175 on Seedance 2.5 by ByteDance.
  3. Download the MP4 usually within 30 minutes (60 on MiniMax H3), here on this site.

You get a vertical 9:16 MP4 of 15 seconds with natural ambient sound (footsteps, breathing, room and wind, then outdoor sounds and laughter in the warm memory), no music and no speech, on every model. It is 2K on MiniMax H3 and 720p on the other two. It stays on the site for 7 days. If we cannot make your clip (it fails, the photo or trend is rejected, or nothing is delivered within 30 minutes, or 60 on MiniMax H3), the credits are refunded automatically and the clip is not retried on another model. If the face is clearly not the person or pet in your photo, we review it by hand. The clip is AI-generated, so say so when you post. Other routes are below.

Which model to pick

You pick the model for each clip. All three make the same 15-second zombie clip with natural sound; they differ in price and output size:

ModelCredits per clipAbout, in dollarsOutput
MiniMax H340$3.00 to $4.002K
Wan 3.075$5.63 to $7.49720p
Seedance 2.5 by ByteDance175$13.13 to $17.48720p

The dollar range is our arithmetic: credits × $0.075 (the $59.99 pack) to credits × $0.0999 (the $9.99 pack).

  • MiniMax H3 is the cheapest at 40 credits and the only one that delivers 2K. It renders the story as one continuous take.
  • Wan 3.0 is the middle choice at 75 credits.
  • Seedance 2.5 at 175 credits follows the reference clip most closely.

We have not compared the three on the same photos, so we do not say which looks best. If you are unsure, start with the cheapest and look at the result.

Make it yourself or use a rival

Template sites: aizombietrend.com, zombieaitrend.com, zombietrend.com, aizombie.org (a free remake if the result does not resemble the subject), makeviral.ai (26 credits), animatephoto.io, vswp.app, auraai.app, nene.video, zooop.ai, genjutsuai.cc and kavel.ai.

DIY:

  • The aiidelist.com guide gives a full prompt. It says the wording "can vary between models" and does not name one.
  • aizombie.org says it runs the same Seedance model as the DIY tools it describes.
  • We have not tested the prompt, and we do not copy it here.

What the DIY route needs: two clear portraits, a model that can keep two faces apart across a cut, and a prompt for the three beats (zombie, hesitation, memory).

Prices, checked 15 Oct 2026 for the first two rows and 12 Oct 2026 for the rest. These vendors sell one video at one fixed price; we sell credits, so our price depends on the model:

Which rival to pick

The sites that sell this clip trade off differently, going by what their pages say on 15 Oct 2026 (aizombietrend.com, zombieaitrend.com) and 12 Oct 2026 (the others). The cheapest single video we found is $6.99.

  • aizombietrend.com is $6.99 for one 15-second video with sound at 720p, or three for $14.99 ($5.00 each, derived). It says no account is needed and delivery takes 5 to 10 minutes.
  • zombieaitrend.com is $6.99 for a 25-second clip at 720p with natural ambient sound and no music. It says no account is needed and offers a full refund on failure.
  • zombietrend.com is cheaper per clip if you buy a big pack ($3.99 derived at 480p, $5.99 at 720p), and its smaller Creator pack of 900 credits works out to $5.53 at 480p (derived). A clip is 15 seconds with sound. It has no free preview.
  • aizombie.org is simpler for one clip: $9.99, 24 seconds, 9:16, sound included. Ten videos cost $69.99, or $7.00 each. Credits never expire. If the result does not resemble the subject, it promises a free remake.
  • makeviral.ai's template costs 26 credits, about $2.60 at the $9.99 pack rate for 100 credits (derived), but the page shows no price in dollars per clip and we did not record its length.

If you want one clip at a fixed price and no account, the $6.99 sites are the simpler route. If you want several versions of the trend, or a choice of model, credits can work out cheaper: a 40-credit clip on MiniMax H3 is about $3.00 to $4.00, and you need a Google sign-in first.

What photos to upload

  • Two photos, one person in each. The guide we read asks for clear, sharp, chest-up shots, with no heavy sunglasses, strong beauty filters or extreme side profiles.
  • JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, between 300 and 6,000 px on each side, and between 0.4 and 2.5 times as wide as it is tall.
  • Both people must agree to appear. No photos of children.
  • If someone in a clip did not agree, write to hello@trendremake.com with the order id.

What can go wrong, and how to fix it

  • The faces are not alike. The model rebuilds two faces. Use sharp, chest-up portraits.
  • Both partners look like zombies. If the model mixes the two faces, re-run with photos that differ in lighting and background.
  • The warm-memory cut feels jumpy. This beat is hard for AI video. Template sites handle it for you; a DIY prompt may need several tries.
  • You want music. The clip has natural ambient sound only. See below.
  • Too graphic. Keep the zombie look mild if you plan to post on a platform with content rules. We did not check each platform's rules.

Sound, music and posting

Our clip has natural ambient sound and no music, no speech. If you want a song, add one from TikTok's or CapCut's own library when you post. TikTok's help page explains how to add a sound. zombietrend.com, aizombietrend.com and aizombie.org say their files include sound; we did not check the music rights. Check them before you use a clip in an ad.

Label the post as AI-generated.

Is the trend still going?

Flat to slightly down since early October 2026, in our data. Memes of this kind have lasted two to three weeks in our data. Check the date before you pay.

What if my clip fails or the face is wrong?

If we cannot make your clip (it fails, the photo or trend is rejected, or nothing is delivered within 30 minutes, or 60 on MiniMax H3), the credits are refunded automatically and the clip is not retried on another model. If the face is clearly not the person or pet in your photo, write to hello@trendremake.com with the order id and we review it by hand. A clip that is delivered but only looks a little different from you is not refunded, because the model rebuilds faces from photos. See refunds.

How long are my photos and clip kept?

A paid order's photos are deleted with the clip 7 days after delivery. Photos of an unpaid order are deleted after 24 hours, and photos of a failed or refunded order after 7 days. Our model provider keeps its own copies for about 14 days. Nothing is public. See privacy.

Can I use the clip commercially?

The clip is for personal, non-commercial sharing. Commercial use is allowed only if you have the rights to the underlying trend material (its music, footage and any characters); we do not grant those rights. See terms.
