What the gas station trend (Gas Station Dance AI video) is
The Gas Station Dance is a road-trip clip. Friends stop at a gas station, the music starts, and they break into a loose dance. One friend films a selfie. Another steps out of a car at the end.
The AI trend rebuilds that scene with new faces. You give the site photos and it renders the same location, cars and handheld look with your people in it. Vendors say the result is a vertical 9:16 clip, 15 to 18 seconds long, with the original sound on some sites.
Origin, as far as we could check:
- makeviral.ai says the original is a 2024 road-trip reel posted by the Instagram account @adelveigel on 1 July 2024, with 1.65 million likes by 12 Oct 2026, and AI versions from late September 2026. We could not open Instagram, so we have not seen the reel ourselves.
- Sky TG24 (2 Oct 2026) says the original video was posted in summer 2024 and revived in 2026 with AI tools. It names the song but no account. It lists AI versions with Italian TV comedians, MasterChef judges and Brazilian footballers.
- Know Your Meme: our search found no entry for this trend (13 Oct 2026). The only match was an unrelated gas station copypasta.

What happens in the clip
As the vendors describe it:
- A dancer in a white polo (per burningbridgesai.app) dances on the forecourt in warm evening light.
- The camera cuts to a close selfie of a second friend (bucket hat, per the same page).
- A third friend, in a black jacket, steps out of a car and the clip ends on a cool exit.
Beats 1 to 3 are the vendors' descriptions of the template. The original reel's exact choreography was not described by any source we read.
Photos you need
- Here: three photos, one per friend, in the order left, middle, right. One person per photo; group photos do not work.
- One photo on makeviral.ai's "Just you" option: one sharp, front-facing photo plays all three parts.
- Three photos on makeviral.ai's "3 friends" option and at burningbridgesai.app: one person per photo. Group photos do not work there. Order matters: dancer, selfie friend, friend in the car.
- Burningbridgesai.app asks for portrait or square crops, at least 341 px per side. makeviral.ai suggests a full-body photo for the dancer and a sharp face photo for the car friend. No sunglasses or filters.
- A photo of a person, a pet or a character works. Upload a person only if they agreed to appear, and no photos of children. Public figures only as clear parody, at your own risk.
Song and rights
Two sources name "Stay with Me" by Akcent (2009): makeviral.ai and Sky TG24. makeviral.ai adds that some reposts list the track as "On and On". Dreamina's guide names no original track and tells readers to use only audio they have permission to use. We could not confirm the song from the original reel. The song is licensed separately; check the platform's sound library and its rules before you post.

What goes wrong
- A friend lands in the wrong part. Keep the photo order the same as the roles. makeviral.ai says to rerun with sharper photos if it happens.
- A beard or hairstyle carries over from the original dancers. Same fix: sharper, front-facing photos.
- Hands and feet look wrong. Dreamina's guide warns that complex footwork can give sliding feet and bent joints. Template sites avoid this by using the original motion.
- Faces do not look like you. Likeness is never guaranteed. Skip sunglasses and beauty filters.
- Sound gets muted on a platform. Add a track from its own library.

What if my clip fails or the face is wrong?
If we cannot make your clip (it fails, the photo or trend is rejected, or nothing is delivered within 30 minutes of your order), the credits for that clip go back to your account automatically. A failed clip is not retried on another model. If the face is clearly not the person or pet in your photo, write to hello@trendremake.com with the order id and we review it by hand. A clip that is delivered but only looks a little different from you is not refunded, because the model rebuilds faces from photos. See refunds.
How long are my photos and clip kept?
A paid order's photos are deleted with the clip 7 days after delivery. Photos of an unpaid order are deleted after 24 hours, and photos of a failed or refunded order after 7 days. Our model provider keeps its own copies for about 14 days. Nothing is public. See privacy.
Does the clip have sound?
No. The clip is delivered silent, because the trend's sound is a commercial recording. Add the sound in TikTok or CapCut when you post.
Can I use the clip commercially?
The clip is for personal, non-commercial sharing. Commercial use is allowed only if you have the rights to the underlying trend material (its music, footage and any characters); we do not grant those rights. See terms.
